Court grants Chimpu divorce

A New Delhi court granted divorce to legendary actor-director Raj Kapoor's son Rajeev Kapoor and his wife Aarti. The duo agreed to separate by mutual consent.

Aarti, an architect, had been living separately for over a year-and-a-half. The couple were married in December 2000.

Rajeev alias Chimpu made his debut in Ram Teri Ganga Maili. He has also produced quite a few films including the Aishwarya Rai-Akshaye Khanna starrer, Aa Ab Laut Chalen.
