The last couple of days saw a slew of Diwali parties, and Bollywood is obviously having a great time.

Amitabh Bachchan, Shilpa Shetty, Ekta Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and Anil Kapoor threw lavish parties, and several of the guests posted pictures on Twitter.

Preity Zinta posted a picture with her Veer-Zaara co-star Rani Mukerji, above, and tweeted: 'Never seen Rani look so beautiful & glow as much as she did on Diwali Night #pregnantdoll #glow #friends.

Rani has been missing from the spotlight ever since her pregnancy was revealed, and it was a pleasant surprise to catch her on Twitter.

Sonakshi Sinha also tweeted from the party: 'Photobomb level MAX. #dilwaicelebrations with these shiny happy people.'

She was spotted with Preity Zinta, Manish Malhotra, Aishwarya Rai, Shilpa Shetty and Hrithik Roshan.

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma will release his autobiography, titled Guns and Thighs, next month.

He shared the cover and wrote: 'The book's Cover design of my autobiography to be released next month by Rupa publications.'

'Some chapters in it..When I called Amitabh bachchan an idiot, My affair with the Underworld,Women in My Filmy Life,' he added.

Happy birthday, Juhi Chawla!

Juhi Chawla celebrates her birthday today.

Director Onir took to Twitter to wish her and wrote: 'Wishing @iam_juhi a very happy birthday .A journey of 10 years and three films has been special .YOU ARE THE BEST.' 

Juhi will return to the silver-screen with Jayant Gilatar's upcoming film Chalk n Duster.

Dilip Kumar reconnects with fans



After almost a year, veteran actor Dilip Kumar took to Twitter to reconnect with his fans on social media.

He posted a picture of himself with wife Saira Banu, above, and wrote: 'Greetings to everybody. Praying for everybody's health, happiness and prosperity.' 

Meanwhile, Aamir Khan wished his fans and tweeted: 'Wishing everyone a year of peace, prosperity and happiness. Love.a.'

Deepika, Priyanka exchange Diwali gifts

Priyanka Chopra, who is currently in Montreal, spent Diwali on the sets of her American show Quantico.

Her Bajirao Mastani co-star Deepika Padukone wished her on Twitter. 'Happy Diwali my love...have sent you something special all the way from India...you should receive it by tomorrow @priyankachopra,' Deepika wrote.

Priyanka replied: 'Cant wait @deepikapadukone Sent u lil something too.. C u Sunday Mastani .. Lots of love and I can't wait to c Tamasha.'

Guess who's enjoying Diwali with Ajay!


British actresses Abigail Eames and Erika Kaar, who are shooting for Ajay Devgn's Shivaay, are enjoying the Diwali festivities.

Devgn ‏posted a picture, above, and wrote: 'With Erika & Abigail enjoying their first Diwali experience.'

The film is set for release on Diwali 2016.

Randeep Hooda gets ready for Sarabjit


After Main Aur Charles, Randeep Hooda will start working on Omung Kumar's biopic Sarabjit.

Randeep posted a picture and wrote: 'Last day of binging before preparations start for #Sarabjit .. @OmungKumar thanks for making life harder ;)'

The film is based on Sarabjit Singh, an Indian farmer who was convicted of terrorism and spying in Pakistan, was sentenced to death. It will also feature Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Richa Chadda.
