First Look: Prakash Raj turns director with Dhoni

Actor Prakash Raj dons the director's cap for his maiden Tamil-Telugu bi-lingual, Dhoni.

The story and screenplay are written by Prakash Raj himself and the film is produced by his production house Duet Movies.

Dhoni revolves around the conflict between a father (Prakash Raj) and son (Akash, son of director Puri Jagannath) regarding the latter's choice of career. The father wants
his son to get an MBA degree while the boy wants to be another Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

The film also sheds some light on the education system and the pressure children face these days.

This sports movie stars Brahmanandam, Radhika Apte and Nazar. Prabhu Deva does a cameo.

Ilaiyaraja composes the music. There was a live performance by the maestro and his orchestra at the audio release in Chennai on January 28.

K V Guhan is the cinematographer.

Dhoni is slated to release on 10 February.
