Shah Rukh to visit Edinburgh University

Shah Rukh Khan will take out time from the shooting for the last leg of Rohit Shetty's upcoming film Dilwale to deliver a lecture at the Edinburgh University on October 15.

The 49-year-old actor tweeted: 'Whole cast of Dilwale on sets. Nice to meet all my friends together.Now 2 writing speech for Edinburgh. Life lessons/Success or on Education?

'Ok in less then two minutes decision made. Most of u feel Life Lessons….LL it is then. Now to make the fingers bleed on the keyboard,' he added later.

Kapil Sharma: Navjot Singh Sidhu is fine and recovering

Former cricketer and commentator Navjot Singh Sidhu was recently hospitalised. He has been diagnosed with acute deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a condition which is caused by a blood clot in a deep vein, hindering blood flow.

Comedy Nights With Kapil's Kapil Sharma took to Twitter to update about his health and tweeted: 'Just spoke to Sidhu paji's family.. He is fine n recovering now.. Get well soon @sherryontopp n god bless paji :)) see u soon on set.'

When Big B was chased by a big cat

 

Amitabh Bachchan, who is the brand ambassador for Maharashtra government's tiger preservation campaign, had an exciting day at Sanjay Gandhi National Park in Mumbai.

'Chased by a Tiger in the heart of Mumbai for 4 kms .. what an experience !! More on this later !!' Bachchan tweeted.

He later posted pictures from his jungle safari, one of them is featured above, and tweeted: 'In close company of the Big Cat .. !! And this on a road in the heart of the city.'

Anupam Kher takes his play to Jaipur

 

After touring the US, Anupam Kher recently took his play Mera Woh Matlab Nahin Tha to the Jaipur Theatre Festival.

He shared a picture with the maharani of Jaipur Padmini Devi Sahiba, above, and tweeted: 'Thank you Her Highness Padmini Ji for gracing & appreciating our play #MeraWohMatlabNahiTha in Jaipur.:) #Royalty'

The play also features Neena Gupta and Rakesh Bedi.

British actress Amy Jackson's parents recently visited her in India to see the response to her latest Hindi film Singh Is Bliing.

Director Prabhu Dheva shared a picture of the family, above, and wrote: 'All the way frm London, @iamAmyJackson loving parents flew down to watch her in #singhisbliing. Proud moment for them.' 

The film also stars Akshay Kumar and Lara Dutta.

The shooting for upcoming Tamil action film Vedhalam is complete.

The trailer of Ram Gopal Varma's upcoming Telugu film Attack is out.

RGV shared a film's poster, above, and tweeted: 'For those asking "ATTACK" is releasing November 1st week.'
