India put up a strong show at the International Emmy Awards on November 25, looking beautiful on the red carpet.
Radhika Apte was nominated for her work in the Best Actress category for her work in Lust Stories, and she dazzled in her lazercut Iris van Herpen dress. She lost out the award to Marina Gera for Eternal Winter.
Lust Stories as well as Sacred Games were nominated at the Emmys, and their respective teams made sure to take their place in the spotlight.

Meet the players: Radhika, Vikramaditya Motwane, Ashi Dua, Ronnie Screwvala, Karan Johar, Srishti Arya, Zoya Akhtar, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Anurag Kashyap, Dibakar Banerjee and Kubra Sait.
Unfortunately, both shows did not win -- Lust Stories lost to Safe Harbour in the Best TV Movie/ Mini Series category while Sacred Games lost out to McMafia in the Best Drama Series category.
McMafia, incidentally, features Nawaz and he shares the stage with director James Watkins.

McMafia tells the story of Alex Godman (James Norton) a well-educated hedge-fund manager stuck with his Russian mafia family. Nawaz plays an Indian businessman named Dilly Mahmood.
Anurag and Vikramadtiya directed the first season of Scared Games, in which Nawaz plays a leading role.
Saif Ali Khan is the other key actor in the Web Series.
