PIX: Parineeti's Australian holiday

July 26, 2016

Bollywood stars go for the loveliest holidays -- exotic locations with a lot of adventure thrown in.

So we decided to document their travels with a special series.

We saw pictures of Asin's beautiful Italy vacation.

Now, let's journey with Parineeti Chopra to Australia!

It was a 14-year old dream for Parineeti to visit Australia, and she got down on her knees when she stepped out of the airport!

A picture postcard view from her room at the Hotel Pullman Cairns International.

The holiday begins with a spellbinding performance at Tjapukai. The food was good too, she says.

She interacted with people of the Kuku Yalanji tribe and learned a lot while walking through the Mossman Gorge.

Where's the perfect place to relax? In a hot air balloon, of course!

Parineeti starts her morning early with a ride on a hot air balloon.

'Silence & serenity amongst the clouds today,' she tweeted.

Food coma, at her hotel's Coco restaurant.

She caught a breathtaking sunset over the mountains of the Daintree rainforest on a cruise around Port Douglas Daintree.

Parineeti tries her hand at adventure sports -- bunging jumping from a height of 78 metres at Cape Tribulation.

Then, it's time to ride a trike.

Parineeti takes in the sun, at Port Douglas Daintree.

The actress takes a walk under palm trees.

Shopping time!

Parineeti picks up a hat from the Kuranda village, a quaint town in the rainforest of Tropical North Queensland.

Perhaps a bag too?

Parineeti enjoys a cool drink -- and some delicious food -- at the Reef House Palm Cove, located right off the beach.

And then, she makes friends with a Koala at the Kuranda Koala Gardens.

Snorkelling at the Great Barrier Reef leaves her speechless.

She gets an aerial view of the rainforest from the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway.

Parineeti gets a taste of the blue seas and white sands at the Clasoff Cay.

Rain or shine, Australia is always beautiful.
