The Bollywood brigade is out on the streets for a noble cause.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's nationwide Swachch Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Drive), launched on October 2, to improve sanitation, hygiene and waste management in the country, has found many favours, especially in Bollywood.

After Hrithik Roshan's efforts to keep his locality clean, for which Modi even tweeted an appreciative post acknowledging the actor's contribution, the Big B has joined the cause too.

Along with a few citizens, he took to Mumbai streets with a broom in hand, right before the finale of Kaun Banega Crorepati 7.

"T 1659 - And before the finale .. it was 'Swach Bharat Abhiyaan' .. went on the streets and broomed and collected dirt to clean up the place," he posted on Twitter.

'T 1659 - The 'Swach Bharat Abhiyaan' .. personalised !! Let every one deserve to be involved .. ,' he tweeted with another picture.

Will the Big B's noble efforts help pull in more celebrities to support the cause?

Only time will tell.

Quite a few actors have done their bit for Modi's new campaign like Salman Khan and Nagarjuna.
