Check out the pirate stealing hearts in a children's hospital.

Johnny Depp put a smile on the faces of a bunch of Aussie kids recently.

Dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow from his mega hit movie franchise, Pirates of the Caribbean, Depp dropped by at the Lady Cliento Children's Hospital in Brisbane, Australia, to meet children being treated there.

This young fan is in shock as she spots Depp, accompanied by Scrum (Stephen Graham), tiptoe towards her.

Responding to his 'Can I get a hug?' she happily leaps into his arms.

And that was her priceless first reaction!

Captain Jack and Scrum are then escorted to meet some more kids.

While taking selfies with other young fans, Depp ponders aloud, 'Why do you call it a selfie if there're other people in it?'

Depp is currently filming the fifth film in the Pirates series.

Captain Jack greets other kids.

That's quite a way to brighten up a kid's day, isn't it?

Shot as part of an Australian television show called Juiced, that chronicles child patients and their families' ordeals through illness, the video concludes with Johnny Depp saluting the patients and their courage.

The fifth Pirates film, Dead Men Tell no Tales, will hit screens in July 2017.
