Screenplay of Vishal Bhardwaj's screen adaptations of Hamlet, Othello and Macbeth -- that turned into Haider, Omkara, and Maqbool respectively -- have now been turned into books.
The cast of all the three movies came together for the book launch, held at Taj Lands End, Bandra, a western suburb of Mumbai.
Father-son duo Pankaj Kapur and Shahid Kapoor have both starred in VB adaptations -- while Kapur Sr starred in the first of the trilogy -- Maqbool, Shahid takes centrestage in the last one -- Haider -- opening in theatres October 2.
