PIX: Amol Palekar's 70th birthday celebrations

The veteran actor-director turned 70 on November 24.

Amol Palekar celebrated his 70th birthday with an art exhibition at the Art and Soul gallery in Worli, South Mumbai.

Quite a few guests turned up to wish him:

Not many know that Amol Palekar studied at Mumbai's prestigious art college JJ School of Arts before he pursued a career in the movies.
