PIX: Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor say goodbye to Aadesh Shrivastava

Bollywood bid adieu to music composer Aadesh Shrivastava, who succumbed to cancer on September 5, a day after his 51st birthday.

His last rites was held at the Oshiwara crematorium, in suburban Mumbai.

His wife Vijeta Pandit broke down several times during the funeral, as her sons Avitesh and Anvesh consoled her.

 

Amitabh Bachchan had shared a close relationship with Aadesh Shrivastava, and paid tribute to the composer on his blog: 'Aadesh Shrivastava passed away .. I lived my music with him .. I live without him now .. and perhaps my music too.'

Amitabh had worked with Aadesh in films like Baghban and Baabul.

Vijeta broke down several times during the funeral. Here, she is comforted by her elder son, who completed the last rites of his father.

Actress Ayesha Julka (extreme left) was also a pillar of support for Vijeta.
