Pierce Brosnan has had his fill of 007.

In an interview to Entertainment Weekly's ew.com, the Irish actor was quoted as saying, "Bond is another lifetime behind me."

The 51 year-old previously played the suave spy, who likes his martini 'shaken, not stirred', in Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World is Not Enough, and Die Another Day.

He was in negotiations to star in the 21st Bond film before he decided to call off the deal.

Actors like Clive Owen, Colin Firth, Hugh Grant, Jude Law, Ewan McGregor, Hugh Jackman and Eric Bana are being considered to play Bond.

But for Brosnan, James Bond is only a 'fond memory' now.
