Pothen shelves Dulquer project
Actor-filmmaker Pratap Pothen was planning a comeback as director with Dulquer Salmaan as the hero and Bangalore Days director Anjali Menon as the scenarist.
The project has been called off as Pratap is not happy with Anjali's script. 'I have lost a year waiting for the script. I wanted a love story with some depth. The script didn't have what I was looking for, Pratap told a Malayalam portal.
He later posted a picture of himself with Dulquer, telling the young star: 'I missed a chance to work with an actor who I was dying to work with... I missed working with his dad (Dulquer's dad Mamootty)... well sometimes one is just unlucky.'
