Just this morning, Karan Jariwala was very much in demand.

Sanjay Leela Bansali's Bhansali Productions was searching high and low for the artiste who created a beautiful rangoli of Deepika Padukone as Padmavati.

Shobha Sant, CEO, Bhansali Productions, posted this message for Karan, 'Can some1 pls get us the name/number of this fantastic Rangoli Artist? @FilmPadmavati really appreciates this'.

Deepika Padukone had also retweeted a picture posted by a bystander, K K Solanki, who said, 'Padmavati rangoli being made here in Surat, Gujarat.'

Sadly, artist Karan K just posted this heart-breaking picture which showed how his hard work over 48 hours had been destroyed by some self-styled vigilantes.

'Rangoli controversy! A crowd of 100 people cried JAY SRI RAM and rubbed out my48hrs' intense work!' he tweeted.

Padmavati has been dogged by controversies since the film went on the floors.

Earlier this year, the Karni Sena burnt posters of Padmavati. Later, they threatened to stall the release of the film.

In January this year, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali was slapped.

In March, the Padmavati sets in Kolhapur were burnt down.
