The 61-year-old child rights activist and Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai were awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014 for their struggle against the suppression of children and young people and for the right of all children to education.

The series, to be aired on Republic Day, will showcase some of the most brutal crimes in India's history including the 2012 Delhi gang rape case.
"I have always propagated against societal evils like child exploitation and trafficking in India and Crime Patrol provides the perfect platform for me to advocate this cause further.
"We need the citizens of this country to consciously take part in reducing the incidence of crime in their surroundings. With Crime Patrol I hope we can encourage people to do their bit to fight crime," Satyarthi said.
