The breathtaking Australian star of Dogville has stormed her way into the 50th anniversary edition of the Guinness Book Of Records. However, Kidman isn't being honoured for her silver screen feats. She is now officially the highest paid actress in a commercial.
Kidman netted $3.71 million for her part in a four-minute commercial for Chanel No 5, directed by Baz Luhrmann.
The actress earned $928,800 per minute, the Guinness Book editors note.
Lately, Kidman has been making headlines with a zest that should make columnists start thinking about a Renaissance Woman tag soon enough.
The tabloids were the first to be hit as pictures of Kidman surfaced with Liz Hurley's defamed ex and billionaire film producer, Steve Bing. The gorgeous blonde followed this up with stunning contrast when news broke that she is to be named the United Nations' 'Citizen of the World.' UN Secretary General Kofi Annan will felicitate her in January.
Angelina Jolie won the award last year.
