Rakesh Roshan's blockbuster Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai will be listed in the Limca Book of Records for the greatest number of awards won by a Bollywood film. The film starring Hrithik Roshan and Amisha Patel won 102 awards. The film had applied to the Guinness Book of World Records but failed to get an entry.

The book, to be released this October, features quite a few film personalities including actor Bobby Darling (for doing the maximum number of gay roles), producer Gaurang Doshi (for having the highest amount of insurance, Rs 30 crores, for his film Deewar) and actor-director Dev Anand (longest running actor and filmmaker working for 50 years in the industry).

Akbar Khan's big day

July 17 was a big day for filmmaker Akbar Khan for two reasons. First, it was his birthday. Second, the director threw a party at Mumbai's JW Marriot to promote his new film, Taj Mahal, starring Zulfi Sayed, Sonya Jehan, Manisha Koirala, Kabir Bedi, Pooja Batra, Arbaaz Khan and Kim Sharma.

Out of the cast, only Zulfi and Kim made an appearance. The invitees also included costume designer Anna Singh, singer Hariharan, music director Naushad with his assistant Uttam Singh and cinematographer RM Rao, besides others like Sunil Dutt and Neena Gupta.

The Khan family also made an appearance, including Sanjay Khan, Zarine Khan and Suzanne Khan.

Taj Mahal is slated for an Eid release (second week of December).
