Aziz Mirza's Chalte Chalte seems to be in troubled waters.
Shah Rukh, one of Chalte Chalte's producers, is in London undergoing physiotherapy after his recent back surgery. Co-producer Juhi Chawla is also in London to deliver her second baby next month. Which leaves only Mirza to do the promotions as well as tend to his wife, who is in hospital.
Besides, the film's premiere, which was to be held on June 12 in London, was cancelled. No reasons were given. Since Khan is a big draw in the overseas market, the premiere would have gone a long way in promoting the film.
Chalte Chalte is Dreamz Unlimted's third film after Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani (SRK, Juhi) and Asoka (SRK, Kareena Kapoor). Both did not fare well at the box office. Compared to them, however, this film has been made on a lower budget.
Amisha's too expensive, says Rahul
After Anil Sharma's Gadar -- Ek Prem Katha, it would have been Amisha's second film with Sunny. But Amisha apparently quoted a very high price, leaving Rahul to resume his search for a leading lady.
Producer Sanjay Seksaria (Afsana Pyaar Ka) has also withdrawn from the film. It will now be produced by N R Pachisia (Tera Mera Saath Rahen).
Meanwhile, Rahul's earlier venture, which was to mark the debut of model John Abraham (Jism), has been shelved.

Aan to release before Khakhee?
As both the films are based on the police force, Rajkumar may have to pull his socks up if he wants to reach the winning post first. It may be recalled that Rajkumar had a similar experience during the shooting of his previous film, The Legend Of Bhagat Singh (Ajay Devgan), when he had to compete with three other films made on the martyr -- Guddu Dhanoa's 23rd March 1931 -- Shaheed (Bobby Deol), Tarun Wadhwaa's Shaheed Bhagat Singh (Harbhajan Mann) and Iqbal Dhillon's Shaheed-E-Azam (Sonu Sood).
Avantika eyes Bollywood
Shweta Keswani (Avantika in teleserial Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and Anu in Desh Me Nikla Hoga Chand) will debut in Bollywood in Rajat Mukherjee's Love in Nepal. This will be Rajat's third film after Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya (Fardeen Khan, Urmila Matondkar, Sonali Kulkarni) and Road (Manoj Bajpai, Vivek Oberoi, Antara Mali).
