Now Maria does an item number

Ex-MTV veejay Maria Goretti will do an item number in debutant director Shashank Ghosh's Waisa Bhi Hota Hai. (Incidentally, Ghosh is responsible for the famous Pepsi slogan Yehi Hai Right Choice Baby!) The film will be produced by Impact films.

Waisa Bhi Hota Hai stars Arshad Warsi, Prashant Narayanan and Sandhya Mridul. Mahima Chaudhry will make an appearance as herself in the film.

The film, slated for an April release, is about a copywriter, who through a series of events, gets involved in the underworld unknowingly.

Incidentally, Goretti and Mridul were both attached with Sony MAX's commentary team that covered the 2003 cricket World Cup in South Africa.
