Sangeeta, Azhar to make films

Mohammed Azharuddin, former captain of the Indian cricket team, and his wife Sangeeta Bijlani have launched the Azhar Sangeeta Management Services.

The company will produce films and television serials, besides organising film concerts abroad.

Adam Bedi's Bollywood debut

Actor Kabir Bedi's 21-year old son Adam will soon make his bow in Bollywood. The blue-eyed youngster, who lives with his 25-year-old model-singer girlfriend Nisha Harlale, will debut in Wonderful Moments, to be produced and directed by Rajesh Sheth and Shyam Gupta.

Raised in Los Angeles and Colorado by his mother, Kabir's second wife, Susan, Adam has already modelled for Lawman Jeans, Toyota Qualis, Roop Milan and Roopam. He has also been signed for Vivek Agnihotri's True Story, an English film based on Hollywood's Traffic And Blow.

Sonali in Manisha's production

Sonali Kulkarni has been roped in for Manisha Koirala's home production, Raja Dil Ka Ghulam. The film, which is to be directed by actor-turned-director Makrand Deshpande, will launch Manisha's brother Siddharth. Sonali will play his love interest.

Sonali has also bagged Daanav and Hannan, both of which will be directed by Deshpande.

Anant Balani comes out of hibernation

Director Anant Balani -- whose unimpressive run in Bollywood includes Patthar Ke Phool (Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon), Mumbai Masala (Rahul Bose) and Ek Din (Rahul Bose, Nandita Das) -- has resurfaced to direct Subhash Ghai's Joggers' Park, starring Perizaad Zorabian.

Balani is also toying with the idea of remaking of the English film, Raid.
