Bhansali approaches Tata Infomedia
Tata Infomedia has also financially assisted Vikram Bhatt's Aitbaar, co-produced by Jatin Kumar and starring Amitabh Bachchan, John Abraham and Bipasha Basu.
Earlier, Aitbaar was stalled when the financier backed out. Tata Infomedia then stepped in. The company has made a foray into motion picture production with the launch of its new division Cutting Edge Entertainment.
Neha's mucky experience
While shooting for her debut film, Harry Baweja's Qayamat, former Miss India Neha Dhupia had an unforgettable experience. The shot required Neha to come out of a murky pool of water for a dance number. Neha refused. Her costar Ajay Devgan and Baweja tried their best to cajole her, but failed.
The next moment found Neha in the pool. Ajay and Harry had given her a mighty shove. Trial by water, indeed.
Jessae will act, after all
Not so long ago, model Jessae Randhawa claimed films were a definite no for her. She wanted to get involved in the health business and start a fitness centre.
Chot speaks about the conflict between two rival groups headed by Ashutosh and Sharad. The screenplay and dialogues are written by Atul Tiwari (who penned Mission Kashmir). Jessae and Rohit provide the romantic angle.
