Rajinikanth, who has been selected for India's second highest civilian award Padma Vibhushan, took to Twitter to express his gratitude and wrote: ‘Feeling deeply honoured for being awarded the Padma Vibhushan. My heartfelt thanks to my dear fans, well wishers & friends for all the wishes.’
Priyanka Chopra will be conferred with Padma Shri. Thanking her fans, she tweeted: ‘What a January.. And now to get the PadmaShri!!!!! I can’t even contain my excitement. Being the daughter of army officers this is so special. Waqt se pehle aur kismet se Zyaada.. Koi kuch nahi paata!!’

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan met French President Francois Hollande at the Republic Day luncheon in Delhi on Tuesday.

The first look of Richa Chadha from the film Sarbjit has been released. Director Omung Kumar shared it on Twitter, above, and wrote: ‘Here's the look of Richa Chadha in the movie #Sarbjit.’
Richa Chadha thanked him and wrote: ‘Thank you so much to the most meticulous director I have ever had the privilege of working with!’
The biopic is based on Sarabjit Singh, an Indian farmer who was convicted of terrorism and spying in Pakistan, and was sentenced to death. It will feature Randeep Hooda, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Darshan Kumaar.
