Nandita Das returns to the Cannes International Film Festival, choosing a peach zari sari for her first appearance.
This time, she was present for the curtain raiser of her new film Manto.
With her sari designed by Anavila Misra, she complimented her look with ethnic danglers.
Anavila posted this picture on Instagram and wrote, 'Nandita Das at the @cannes_filmfestival promoting her new movie Manto, looking every bit graceful in our linen jari peach sari!'
Based on the life of prolific Indo-Pakistani author and playwright Saadat Hasan Manto, the film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the title role.
Nandita has attended the Cannes film festival on numerous occasions, once in the capacity of a jury member in 2005.
