Naga Chaitanya's second Telugu release in 2011, after the super success of 100% Love, is Dhada.

The film is produced by Siva Prasad Reddy and Chandan Reddy under Kamakshi Kala Movies, and is directed by debutant Ajay Bhuyan.

Kajal Agarwal is paired opposite Chaitanya for the first time and Samiksha is the other heroine.

Unlike his previous films Ye Maaya Chesaave and 100% Love, which were love stories, this time round Chaitanya's role is more action-oriented. The action sequences have been orchestrated by Thai action director Pradit Seeluyem, and some of the scenes in the
film have been shot in Bangkok and Manila. Two songs will be filmed in Europe. The US part is likely to be shot shortly.

"The film is based on a real life incident that happened in the United States to a Telugu youth," said Siva Prasad Reddy at a press conference that provided the first look into the film.

"The average age of the film unit is under 30," said producer Chandan Reddy and added that high quality standards have been maintained in production.

Brahmanandam, Tanikella Bharani, Venu Madhav, Sriram, Kelly Dorji, Mukesh Rishi and Rahul Dev are also part of the cast.

After composing for 100% Love, Devisriprasad comes back to score music for Dhada. V S Gnanasekhar is the cinematographer.

Dhada is slated for an August release.
