For Bollywood, 'item numbers' have become a must. So much so, that some such numbers are more famous than the movies they add sizzle to!
And gone are the days when we would have people like Bindu and Helen dancing provocatively. Now, we our leading ladies doing item numbers, at times their role in a movie is limited to just a song.
This year too, we had item numbers -- Mallika Sherawat flaunting her curves in Maiya Maiya from Guru and Mehbooba from Aap Kaa Surroor. It's rocking from Kya Love Story Hai featured Kareena Kapoor, while Mehbooba in Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag saw Urmila Matondkar sending temperatures soaring.
