We've had inspiring tales and grand moralising on our screens, and many of our top superstars -- from Amitabh Bachchan and Vinod Khanna to Shammi Kapoor and Esha Deol -- have played teachers in the reel world.
In fact, it's actually hard to think of an actor who's been around for a while and never played a teacher of some sort, be it for mere comic effect, fighting off amorous students, or another To Sir, With Love adaptation.
