Any mention of Santhosh Pandit evokes laughter among Malayalis.

Santhosh has been playing the lead in films he has made himself, with an unknown cast. He is seen as a comical actor and his films have been making ripples for all the wrong reasons.

According to sources, he will be doing a cameo in Dileep’s forthcoming film directed by debutant Sreebala K Menon.

Dileep plays a news anchor in the film. Santhosh plays a guest who is interviewed on the show.

There were reports that Shakkeela, who once played the sexy siren in Malayalam films, was considered for the film but she will not be a part of the cast.
