Mohanlal to star in a Telugu film!

A lowdown on what's happening in the Telugu film industry.

Director Chandrasekhar Yeleti is known for his offbeat movies.

His next Telugu project is a family drama produced by Sai Korrapati.

Yeleti has signed Malayalam superstar Mohanlal for the film to be made in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.

Gautami Tadimella will also be seen in an important role.

It will be interesting to see Mohanlal in a Telugu film after so many years!

Documenting Kanche

Krish Jagarlamudi will weave a love story against the backdrop of World War II in his forthcoming film Kanche (starring Varun Tej and Pragya Jaiswal).

Kanche will be India's first real World War II film. The film was shot in some real war locations using the weapons of those times.

A diary on the making of the movie will be brought out soon.

Kanche is slated to release on November 6.
