Now, Nair has been approached to direct the fifth Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix.
The director, whose Salaam Bombay received an Oscar nomination, says she has read Steven Kloves' adaptation, but has not arrived at a decision yet.

The first two Harry Potter films were directed by Chris Columbus (Nine Months, Mrs Doubtfire) and the latest one by Mexican filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón (Y Tu Mama Tambien). The fourth film, Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire will be directed by Mike Newell (Four Weddings And A Funeral).
