"His body will arrive in Mumbai at 1.30am," Mehmood's nephew Imran Ali said.
The body will be kept at the Mehboob Studio in Bandra between 8am and noon to enable fans and members of the film fraternity to pay their last respects.
The body will be taken to Bangalore the same day and buried the next day at Mehmood's farmhouse.
Mehmood, who was undergoing medical treatment in the United States, passed away on Friday in Pennsylvania.
