The funeral of veteran Bollywood comedian Mehmood Ali, who passed away in Pennsylvania, United States, on Friday, is likely to be held on Wednesday in Bangalore, family sources said in Mumbai.
"His body is expected by Tuesday evening. It will be kept at the Mehboob Studio for a couple of hours on Wednesday, to enable fans to pay their last respects to the departed soul," they said.
"We plan to take his body later to Bangalore, and bury him at his farmhouse," the sources said.
The funeral plans will be finalised on Monday, they added.
