Mandira Bedi was inconsolable at her husband Raj Kaushal's funeral, which was held at the Shivaji Park crematorium in north central Mumbai on Wednesday morning.
Kaushal, who had directed movies like Shaadi Ka Laddoo, Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi, succumbed to a heart attack at around 4:30 am, according to his friend and actor Rohit Roy.
Aashish Chaudhary, a close friend of the family, stayed by Mandira's side all along and gave her support.
He was among the first to arrive along with Ronit Roy who had shared the screen with the actress in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.
Samir Soni and Aditi Gowarikar also consoled with Mandira.
