While Aishwarya Rai Bachchan hobnobs with international celebrities at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival, back home, the first poster of her comeback film, the Sanjay Gupta-helmed Jazbaa is finally out.

Gupta shared the poster, that has Ash in all her gritted teeth glory, on Twitter.

The film's tentative release date has been set to October 15 this year.

Shah Rukh Khan starts shooting for Raees

Shah Rukh Khan, who recently wrapped up the shooting for Maneesh Sharma’s Fan, has moved on to his next film, Raees.

‘Bak 2 Raees shoot. My director Rahul (naam toh suna hoga) must be fuming for delay by more than hour. Will make up by working harder now!’ the 49-year-old actor tweeted.

‘So nice to see so many ppl happy. Success has its own smile. My love and congratulations to each & everyone from team Piku,’ he added.

Directed by Rahul Dholakia and produced by Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani and Gauri Khan, Raees will co-star Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Pakistani actress Mahira Khan

Mallika Sherawat always manages to get invited to high-profile Hollywood parties, and mingle with international stars.

Well, it's happened again, and the actress met up with Mexican filmmaker Guillermo Del Toro (Pacific Rim, Hellboy) at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival.

She shared a picture of them together, and tweeted: ‘With one of the greatest directors in the world Guillermo Del Toro:)’

Prakash Mehra’s 1984 drama film Sharaabi completed 31 years on May 18.

Richa Chadda attends Masaan premiere at Cannes

 

Indian film Masaan was recently premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.

Director Neeraj Ghaywan tweeted: ‘The beautiful actors of MASAAN! @Festival_Cannes Premiere today at 4:30 PM, Salle Debussy. The BIG day!’ 

The film, starring Richa Chaddha (centre) has been chosen for the Un Certain Regard section of the competition.

Shekhar Kapur defends Anurag Kashyap

Anurag Kashyap’s latest film Bombay Velvet has been declared a disaster at the box office but filmmaker Shekhar Kapur took to Twitter to defend him.

‘A Film maker of such talent n intensity as #AnuragKashyap does not deserve media war against him. His body of work transcends one BO failure,’ Kapur tweeted.
