But Vidya doesn't seem to be upset.
"In the first part, the two men (Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi) come to my village to meet me. In the next part, they will go elsewhere, so obviously they will meet someone new and not me. Anyways, I like Madhuri Dixit and I'm happy that she is in the sequel," Vidya says.
There are rumours that Naseer may not be a part of the sequel, but will be replaced by Irrfan. Madhuri will be romancing Irrfan.
Arshad Warsi is the only actor retained from the original cast; he will be paired opposite Kangna Ranaut.
Abhishek Chaubey had directed Ishqiya, which opened to great reviews and box office collections. The film was produced by Vishal Bhardwaj.
