The actor believes in being a professional even if it hurts him!
In Ugly Aur Pagli, Mallika Sherawat was supposed to slap Ranvir 99 times, at various intervals. Apparently, the actress was reluctant. To add to her misery, each slap would have to be re-shot.
But Ranvir, seeing Mallika's discomfort, decided to help out. He started rehearsing how she could slap him from various angles so that it would look real.
"To help Mallika, Ranvir would sit down with her and devise different ways of slapping a person," confirms Sachin Khot, the debutant director of Ugly Aur Pagli. "It was really funny to hear their conversations!"
