The actress will star in not one but two RGV films -- Contract and Phoonk.
A Pune girl, Amruta earlier starred in the little known dud, Mumbai Salsa, directed by Vikram Bhatt. She tried her hand at television before she became Ramu's heroine.
Amruta was present at the launch of Ramu's next film, Sarkar Raj, on Sunday, April 20.
