The actor stars, with wife Kajol, in Toonpur Ka Superhero, a film mixing live-action and animation.
The film is about a movie actor who falls into the animated world of toons and becomes a hero to them.
Produced by Kumar Mangat and with a reported budget of Rs 40 crore, the film is said to contain 60-70 percent animation.
The film is short-filmmaker Kireet Khurana's first full-length feature, and was given a mahurat in Mumbai's Yash Raj Studios recently with chief guest Karan Johar giving the actors the clap.
