Have you seen Dips look *this* stunning before?
Deepika Padukone's look from Padmavati is out, and WOW! does she look gorgeous!
The film's scale can be seen with her elaborate costumes and jewellery.
The costumes have been designed by Delhi-based Rimple and Harpreet Narula, who collected material from antique markets.
Rimple and Harpreet went through an intense research process that involved several trips to the Jaipur and Calico museums, studying various old textiles as well as old murals and miniature paintings to capture the beautiful details.
The main motif of Deepika's extravagant lehenga is created using traditional zardozi
It is the symbolic Tree of Life, which has connotations of divinity as well as man's connection to the cosmos, a warrior's strength and resolve.
The border of the lehenga has been derived from architectural details of Rajasthani palace windows and jharokhas.
The odhnis have been styled in the traditional way that is still prevalent in the Mewar belt of Rajasthan.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus -- no other phrase quite fits SLB's vision and style of movie making -- also stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.
We can't wait to see what Ranveer and Shahid look like in the film.
Padmavati releases on December 1.
