Amitabh Bachchan, the brand ambassador of IIFA, told rediff.com in an earlier interview: "Singapore is one of the cleanest places in the world. I have always liked it because the people of Singapore always welcome you with a smile. Last year, we made IIFA Awards a great event at South Africa. Let us hope we make it a big success this year too."
350 members of the film fraternity will be flown to the venue for the award ceremony.
Though Big B appears in quite a few films this year, his next two releases deal with the delicate Indo-Pak situation. Gaurang Doshi's Deewar is scheduled for a May 28 release while Farhan Akhtar's Lakshya will open on June 11.
