It's a rainy day for Ash

February 19, 2004

Aishwarya Rai's first film in Bengali for director Rituparno Ghosh's Chokher Bali saw her as the seductive Binodini.

Now, the actress will be seen in Ghosh's first Hindi film, Raincoat, opposite Ajay Devgan.

Produced by Venkatesh Films, the film is expected to be shot over 15 days in Kolkata. Apparently, the entire film occurs in one day.

This will be Ash's fourth film with Devgan, after Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, David Dhawan's Hum Kisise Kum Nahin and Rajkumar Santoshi's Khakee.
