Wikileaks founder Julian Assange had an unlikely visitor recently.

Pop singer Lady Gaga, who was at Harrods in central London to launch her new perfume Fame, dropped in to meet Assange at the Equadorian embassy (Assange has sought political asylum in Equador).

The Born This Way hitmaker visited Assange at the embassy around 7

pm.

The meeting reportedly lasted for five hours during which the duo dined together in the Australian activist's backroom at the embassy, located just across the road from Harrods.

The photograph of Gaga and Assange that was posted on the singer's official fan site has her dressed in a black outfit and a witch's hat; Assange is wearing a casual white tee shirt.
