According to Sun, the actress has been learning sword fighting with stuntmen and co-star Johnny Depp, and rehearsing fight scenes wielding two swords.
The action of Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest between Captain Jack Sparrow (Depp) and Keira's reel love Will Turner is due to hit the marquee next year.
The third sequel to Pirates is expected in 2007.
