The filmmaker has penned his biography called An Unsuitable Boy, co-authored by Poonam Saxena.
The book unravels Karan's personal life, right from his childhood to his growing up years and his Bollywood career.
At the Jaipur Literary festival in January, talking about the book, he said he would be scared of the word 'pansy.'
He also spoke about their difficult times when his father -- producer Yash Johar -- had to sell the house and jewellery when his films went into losses.
The book will release in January.
