Kangana Ranaut seems to want to soar higher.
The actress has signed on a new project called Tejas, in which she will play an Air Force fighter pilot.
Directed by first-timer Sarvesh Mewara and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Tejas is an account of what women can achieve when they are given a chance.
The Panga actor talks about her role: 'Very often, the sacrifices made by our brave women in uniform go unnoticed by the nation. Tejas is a film where I have the honour of playing the role of one such Air Force pilot, who puts country before self. I hope we instill a sense of patriotism and pride in the youth of today with this film.'
Tejas will go on floors this summer and will release in April 2021.
