Apparently, music director A R Rahman has not been able to complete the background score in time.
Director Abbas Tyrewala decided to give Rahman creative freedom and not rush him, and so pushed the release date in order to give the composer more time.
Producer Madhu Mantena confirms the news. "It's true that we've decided to release Jhootha Hi Sahi on October 22 instead of October 15. We will utilize this extra time to promot our film."
While John Abraham fans will have to wait longer to watch him on the big screen, we wonder whether Rahman needs a holiday from his overloaded work burden, and come back with good tunes again.
