It's a wrap for Vijay's Theri

According to reports, Vijay has wrapped up the shooting of his upcoming venture Theri, an action thriller directed by Atlee of Raja Rani fame.

Vijay fans, who missed their favourite star in action this Pongal, were delighted when the filmmakers released new stills from the film.

The actor is believed to be essaying a dual role, including that of a cop.

Amy Jackson and Samantha have been roped in to play the female leads.

G V Prakash Kumar has composed the music. Produced by S Thanu, the film is likely to hit the theaters in April this year.

Singam 3 to be titled S3

Suriya’s Singam 3, the sequel to his hugely successful Singam series, has been officially titled S3.

This was confirmed by the producers, Studio Green, through their Twitter handle along with the film’s first look poster.

S3 will mark Suriya and director Hari’s fifth collaboration together.

Anushka Shetty will continue to play the female lead for the third time, while Shruti Haasan has been roped in for an important role.

Suriya, who recently finished shooting for Vikram Kumar’s 24, headed to Vizag, where the team began their first schedule last week.

Aranmanai 2 to release on January 29

Director Sundar C’s horror comedy Aranmanai was one of the biggest hits of 2014. The director now returns with its sequel, which is expected to hit the screens next week.

Titled Aranmanai 2, the film features Siddharth, Trisha, Hansika Motwani, Poonam Bajwa, Soori, Kovai Sarala, Manobala and the director himself.

The movie is produced by Khushbu under the banner Avni Cinemax and has music by Hiphop Tamizha.
