Huma Qureshi has agreed to do a special song-and-dance number in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi.
It's a big break for the actress whose career hasn't exactly taken off even after so many years in the industry.
Considering what the dance number in Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram Leela did for Priyanka Chopra, this may just be the break that Huma is waiting for.
"Sanjay wanted a dancer who could emote to the evocative lyrics. Huma isn't doing a mujra in the film. It is a more earthy, raunchy item number," a source close to the development tells Subhash K Jha.
