'What makes it shocking is that it was so sudden. It's not that she was ill for a long time.'

'I heard from friends that she was working every day. She was in a lot of television series and movies.'

Reema Lagoo has played Mohnish Behl's screen mother on quite a few occasions.

They have worked in films like Hum Saath Saath Hai, Vaastav, Hum Aapke Hai Koun...! and Maine Pyaar Kiya.

He recalls her as a warm-hearted, non-judgmental person, who was very open-minded.

He pays tribute to the late actress here:

We have done a lot of movies together.

We have spent a lot of time together, especially when we would shoot in other cities.

She was a beautiful lady. Besides the acting and interaction on sets, she was a very warm human being.

She was non-judgmental and accepted people as they are.

There were no airs about her even though she was a very senior artiste. You felt comfortable around her; you wanted to talk to her.

It’s a terrible loss to me as an individual and a huge loss to the film industry.

What makes it shocking is that it was so sudden. It's not that she was ill for a long time.

I heard from friends that she was working every day. She was in a lot of television series and movies.

I feel I have lost a friend who I could talk to. One feels the loss of a dear one, gone much before their time.

I will treasure memories of acting with her.

Though we were fond of each other, we never met on a personal level. Our meetings were always professional.

She will always be a part of the history of Hindi cinema.
