The industry has lost yet another fine actor today.

Reema Lagoo, 59, succumbed to a cardiac arrest on May 18 at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai.

For Shriya Pilgaonkar, who has worked with Reema Lagoo in the serial Tu Tu Main Main as a child, it's a personal loss.

She called her 'Reema Maushi' and mentioned that in her tweet too.

"I'd just like to say that she was very close to my family, so it's a personal loss," she says.

Her mother Surpiya played Reema Lagoo's boisterious daughter-in-law in the show that lasted almost six years on television.

Shriya recalls, "I remember how she would pamper me when I visited the set of Tu Tu Main Main."

"She has always been very encouraging," says Shriya. "I have grown up watching her work and she will always be remembered as a brilliant actress and a strong woman. It's a shock for all of us. She'll be missed."
