Sanskaar: Dharohar Apnon Ki's Bhoomi gets a makeover and she's looking WOW!

Television actress Shamin Mannan seems to be tired of her bahu look in Sanskaar: Dharohar Apnon Ki, where she plays Bhoomi.

In fact, she feels restricted by it.

"I don't regret the bahu look as such because whatever one might say, the fact is that bahus rule the TV world. So I enjoyed playing a bahu. But yes, at times you do feel a little restricted as an actor and wish to try different looks and play different characters on-screen," she says.

She recently did a photo shoot showing off her sexy avatar.

"One always wants to experiment," she explains. "When you are playing the same character, you feel restricted. I wanted people to see me in different avatars but I was waiting for the right time. I got into a weight loss and fitness regime and it turned out well. So I thought it was the right time to get a makeover. Everything turned out well and I am looking drastically different from the typical bahu and the girl-next-door types that " have been portraying."

Shamin hopes to attract new roles with this makeover.

"I am a little bored playing a bahu on screen. I feel my calibre as an actor isn't being challenged enough," she says. "There are many other things that I want to try, like comedy or sexy and bold avatars. I have broken the stereotype with this photoshoot. I hope I can do justice to all the looks that I have donned. I don't want to stick to one kind of look. With this photoshoot, I hope to create more space for myself as an actor."

Here are the pictures from Shamin's hot new photoshoot.
